Access is a Microsoft database, porting away from it may be a nightmare.
I am looking for a mac database to replace filemakerpro. I have filemakerpro 12 and it does not run on high sierra or mojave. I can't justify the monthly fee for it. I am running Sierra just so I can keep using it until I can find something to replace it I do not need the power of filmmaker. First, tell us why you are wanting to move to a different database platform. (Need the end goal to figure out how to do it)
What compliance standards do you have to adhere to? PCI, HIPAA, etc.
What are ALL of the platforms you need the database to work on?
PC/Mac/Android/iPhone/WindowsPhone/Web?
